Cloverfield Monster Movie On DVD 9th June
The first big movie event of 2008, Cloverfield, will rampage onto DVD on June the ninth 2008.
Just in time for Father’s Day kids 
Monsters rampaging in a city is always a good start for a movie event ( unless you are making the 1990’s version of Godzilla, in which case they should have done something else). But Cloverfield is clever and tells the story Blair Witch style with a hand held camera footage point of view.
New York attracts this kind of thing I have noticed, Also what has the poor Statue Of Liberty done to movie makers so that it’s fate is so varied and final amongst movie makers.

So what is so special about the special edition Cloverfield DVD?
There is over 2 hours of bonus materials including ‘Alternative Endings’, ‘The Making of Cloverfield’, ‘Cloverfield Visual Effects’ and commentary from Director Matt Reeves. The two features I love best in these SE dvds are outtakes (sadly missing from this dvd) and the alternative ending, so I just cannot wait to see this.
